Getting started with Profit Bid
Provision a Starter trial (14 days, 1 store, up to 300 orders), connect your store, set costs, then enable product-profit uploads to Google Ads (or Meta / TikTok).

Stores belong to an organization/license (max 6). Agencies use /app/agency for licenses, campaigns, invoices, and Stripe Connect; clients approve access under Agency Requests.

From Connect store (/app/stores), pair each platform with its real flow: WooCommerce plugin + license, Shopify OAuth, module/extension + pairing code, or MerchantPro API credentials. Then sync products and enable profit routing.

COGS and profit settings
POAS uploads use product profit from catalog COGS plus org Profit settings. There is no separate “payment fee rules” engine in live profit math — focus on COGS, fallback %, VAT, and shipping cost.

Connect Google Ads
Org-level Google OAuth, then per-store conversion mapping. Profit Bid uploads click conversions (gclid / gbraid / wbraid) with product profit by default via uploadClickConversions — not a browser tag alone.

POAS bidding setup (tROAS on profit)
After Product profit uploads are flowing, point Maximize conversion value / tROAS at that conversion, lower targets to a profit scale, and optionally use A/C/X labels from Product Labeling via Merchant Center XML.

Labels are computed in Product Labeling (/app/labels) from Google Ads Shopping performance + POAS rules, stored on catalog items, then exposed on your Merchant Center XML feed as custom_label_0 — not pushed via the Merchant Center Content API.

Consent, CMP, and Enhanced Conversions
Per-order CMP signals win over the store Google Ads consent fallback. Click-ID uploads can still run; hashed PII for Enhanced Conversions / CAPI only when ad user data (and where required personalization) is GRANTED.

Meta CAPI & TikTok Events API
Meta and TikTok uploads are implemented end-to-end: server Purchase / CompletePayment with shared event IDs, the same value-mode triad as Google Ads, and per-platform conversions logs.

Refunds and conversion adjustments
Google Ads uses uploadConversionAdjustments (RETRACTION / RESTATEMENT) driven by order-status mapping. Meta and TikTok use platform refund event modes instead of Google’s adjustment API.

Attribution lookback & upload model
In-app attribution settings default to lookback_days = 90 (capped at 365) and an upload click model. This is not a mirror of Google’s “30-day click / 1-day view” UI — Google still applies its own conversion window on the Import from clicks action.

Start at Conversions sent for the platform, read the status and error, then check click ID, consent, value mode, OAuth, and order status mapping.

Orders not syncing
If Orders stays empty or stalls, verify the store is connected, sync is not blocked, you are under trial/plan limits, and the platform plugin or OAuth session is healthy.
