Connect your ecommerce store

Steps

1. Open Connect store. In the app go to Connect store (/app/stores). Active platforms show connect cards; others may show In progress / Coming soon from rollout settings.
2. Complete the platform flow. Follow the on-screen steps for your platform (download/activate plugin, OAuth, or paste a pairing code). See platform sections below for exact UI copy.
3. Sync products. After connect, run product sync (Fetch now / Sync). Watch SyncProgress until products appear under Products.
4. Enable profit routing. On the store card, confirm which ad platforms should receive conversion uploads for this store (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.).

Supported platforms & default rollout

Platform IDs in product code: woocommerce, shopify, bigcommerce, prestashop, shopware, opencart. Defaults: WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, Shopware, and OpenCart are active; BigCommerce defaults to in_progress (admins can override rollout).

Hard cap: up to 6 connected stores per license. Plan slots: Starter 1, Growth 2, Pro 4, Scale/Enterprise 6. Trial allows 1 store; platforms chosen at /start-free constrain allowed_platforms.

WooCommerce

UI title: “Connect WooCommerce”. Flow: Download the Profit Bid plugin → Activate license in WordPress (Profit Bid → Settings: paste license key and optional Plugin provision token) → Fetch now / sync products.

This is license + signed plugin API, not a pairing-code OAuth. After connect, click tracking installs via the plugin; use GDPR tools under /app/gdpr-compliant when needed.

Shopify

Enter your *.myshopify.com domain and start OAuth (/api/app/shopify/oauth/begin). Success uses shopify_connected. Click tracking auto-installs (theme embed may need a one-time enable). Sync products after connect.

PrestaShop, Shopware, OpenCart

PrestaShop: install the module, then enter store URL + pairing code from Modules → Profit Bid → Configure, then “Connect with PrestaShop”. Missing code error: “Enter the pairing code from PrestaShop → Modules → Profit Bid → Configure.”

Shopware: Profit Bid generates a pairing code; paste it in Extensions → Profit Bid → Configuration (optional client id/secret). Use “Connect with Shopware”; auto-connect can fire after the extension saves the code.

OpenCart: generate a pairing code in Profit Bid, pair in the OpenCart extension, then “Connect with OpenCart”. Reconnect copy: “OpenCart is no longer connected on your store. Generate a new pairing code and connect again.”

BigCommerce

OAuth via store hash when the platform slot is active. Success message: “BigCommerce store connected. Click tracking is installed automatically. Sync products below.” If the card shows In progress, wait for rollout or ask support — default status is in_progress.

After connect checklist

Confirm these before enabling ads uploads:

• Store shows isConnected and sync is not blocked
• Products list populated; COGS editable on Products
• Recent orders appear on Orders
• Profit routing enabled for the ad platforms you use
